 So the Audie Awards are the Audiobook equivalent to the Oscars and I am honored to have been nominated for 3(!?!) titles I worked on this past year. Audiobooks hold a special place in my creative life and it is gratifying to be honored this way. Thanks to the Audio Publishers Association, AudioFile Magazine, Tantor Audio, Recorded Books, Penguin Random House Audio and all the producers and engineers and proofers and QCers and I could go on and on. Audiobooks are a collaborative art form even if sometimes it feels like as narrators we're alone in our booths. So cheers to all the nominees and I can't wait to celebrate you come May! #Audies2018

Isn't this something that you should be celebrating? Having these 3 nominations makes all of your hard works worth it, right? I know how happy you are for being able to be nominated because of the fact that there are people who have appreciated your works. If I will be given the chance, I would really love to check your work as well because I want to know myself the reason why they nominated your work among the other works. I am not doubting your talent, of course, please do not misunderstand this, but I just really want to witness the beginning of your many success. Leave a Reply. |
